Role Playing has become quite an attraction in recent years. So while on these boards. In order to keep things as friendly and blood-less as possible, there are a few rules that every-one must agree to and with. So let us begin with the Do's and Don'ts of the RPG's here at Godric's-Hallows.

  1. DO have fun and create new friends.
  2. DO have an imagination with flair and style.
  3. Do create a character sheet prior to beginning a role play. (if I ever figure out how to operate that MOD)
  4. DO Listen to your Role Playing Moderator (usually the member that starts the RPG)
  5. DO NOT create NPC's (non-playing characters) without PERMISSION from your Role Playing Moderator.
  6. DO NOT GOD-MOD, do not direct any character other than your own and if NPC's are to be used in your game, please only direct your NPC's. Please note that if directing an NPC you lose the ability to direct your character during this turn.
  7. Unless specified and or directed by your Role Playing Moderator, there must be two (2) players to have posted before you may post again. Simply put, this means NO A-B PLAYING (member A posts then member B posts, then member A posts again.
  8. OUT of Character (OOC) posts are dis-allowed. PM's must be used if OOC questions and or comments need be made. Exception to this rules resides with the Role Playing Moderator which again is usually the member who has created the RPG.
  9. Role Playing Moderators (RPM's) have full and final authority within their respective RPG's. The RPM is usually the topic starter or the RPG starter however, any member may be selected to Moderate an RPG. Any and all Staff at Godric's-Hallows is considered to be an RPM in any game and their decisions will normally supersede those of a member RPM.
