RupertGrint.net has received word that the actor who plays Ron Weasley in the Potter films is working on a new film titled Cherrybomb, for release in 2009:

Set in Belfast, the plot is described to be a "a gritty thriller about two teenagers who get into trouble when they both fall for a beautiful new girl in town."

The Telegraph is reporting that 18-year-old Robert Knox (Ravenclaw student Marcus Belby in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince)was stabbed to death last night outside of bar in Sidcup, London, after trying to protect his younger brother from several men. The Sunday Mirror reported earlier today that Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has written a story that is set to become a mini-movie used at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter when it opens in late 2009 or early 2010.

Snitch Seeker has spoken with a representative for Emma Thompson, who informs them that we will not see any whimsical fortune telling in Half-Blood Prince.

The site also notes that she appears in two HBP book scenes: informing Harry of Draco's presence in the Room of Requirement and Snape having overheard the prophecy.
